elvis costello is the man. as in a cool guy. not THE man. he would never. he wouldn't listen to the man. years ago... elvis costello was told not to play the song 'radio' on saturday night live where he was playing. columbia records didn't want him to play the song and neither did nbc, (if i am informed correctly.) so he started to play another song and cut it real quick and played 'radio'. despite throwing the whole show off schedule and pissing a few people off, it was awesome and pretty badass.
