nothing TOO exciting to report but we're still working on writing some more songs and waiting for mixes on the album.
on the other hand i've been busy making more songs. i'm at about 20 songs total, only vocals on about 5. i've just been having so mch fun making music and hate singing on recordings so much that i haven't been able to stop recording music and NOT vocals haha.
one of these days this week i am going to take some promotional photos for valencia since the last photos as a band we have on our myspace were taken almost a year ago and the last individual photos were taken over 2 years ago... we're silly to have waited so long, but we've been busy. (plus everyone hates taking pictures but me, so they get all annoyed and crazy, so i never feel like doing it) other than that we'll just be writing at practice.
last night i went to see knocked up at hte troc. it was only 3 dollars so it was worth it.... and free pretzels and dots, delicious. i also won a free dvd of Hot Fuzz just for being there.
this weekend was a musical weekend. i went to see magnolia electric company on friday and it was really great... the opening band i reccomend you go check them out - Drakkar Sauna. Saturday i went to this college day on the parkway thing with ataris against me and talib kweli. against me was really good and talib wasn't bad. then later we went to eat in chinatown and on my way back i passed the troc and saw all these people i knew outside. it turns out new atlantic was playing so i went in and saw the show, it was pretty good to see everyone... THENNN i was gonna go see animal collective but it was sold out and i couldn't get a hold of my friend joe who was working the door. that would have been quite crazy.
too many shows to count that i want to go to. probably end up going to see the good life on friday so that will be cool
anyway... reason 4 is out so i must get it!

i looked up the punk the clock 3 compilation and there it was. i was so stoked. i loooove that song. but now i'm not so stoked because i have about 4 free plays of it left and i can't find anywhere to buy the individual mp3 online. ahhh. hahah.

Now that I have just listened to the new song.....thx Ashley!!!!!, I am really excited about the new CD. I did preorder Punk the Clock, but still have not gotten it, so I guess listening to it on Rhapsody will have to do!!!!!!
So yeah there a lot of shows to choose from. Even though I live 2 hrs from Philly, I still have a hard time figuring which ones I want to go to.

since the 14th (when i saw you guys actually...) Ive been to a show a week. crazy.
