tour journal

today finally feels like fall. i'm so pumped. i can't wait until it's cold and i can wear a nice sweater and perhaps a scarf, who knows these days. anyway it feels good and i think i'm going to see magnolia electric co. tonight with the watson twins, i'm pretty excited for it. i really wanted to go to new york to see okkervil river (as it is sold out here in philly tomorrow night) but i think it'll be good.

last night was pretty fun... one of the hottest shows i've ever played, i think i almost passed out about 5 times on stage. shane's doctor visit went really well the day before and he sang really well (i thought... but i didn't haha) but it was a crummy monitor system, we couldn't hear ourselves at all. but hopefully it was worth it and people enjoyed it. since shane was just coming off being sick we played a pretty short set and people were very angry so we ended up playing 2 more songs ha. it felt good to finally be able to a normal set though.

no one tell me what happened on this office! i haven't seen it yet because i was at the show but hopefully i can see it soon.

Hope you dig them... let me know if anyone gets a chance to check any of them out. but in any event, we are home for about a month so i'm going to be working on more music and lots of fun stuff... perhaps some new pictures and other things and maybe even a video. i made 2 warped tour video but rob hasn't posted them yet, but hopefully they'll be up soon.

any case... time to get on with the day! thanks to all who came out last night, it was a really fun show.
