well well well.
the last few days have been pretty insane. first things first... doctors orders are to cancel the tour... shane is sick and not to sing for the next 10 days... so we are heading home. it really sucks but it's better than shane getting worse and getting sicker.
other than that... the show last night was absolute insanity. we showed up to the venue and there were helicopters all over the sky and cops everywhere. we the kings told us that before we got there a guy shot 4 cops across the street from the venue and was on the loose in the area. it was pretty scary... THEN there were 4 fights during our set. i can't even believe who would fight at a show, let alone a valencia show. it must have been our lyrics... blue skies and sunrises always make me wanna fight as well. we were so pissed, we walked off stage... clapping and chanting always brings us back, so they did it and we came back and finished... but it was just insanity. andrew was on the balcony and saw the whole thing. he was calling dudes out and getting things done... he came down and nick, andrew and the security guys took them out. it was all in all a crazy show.
...even more mayhem ensues at sydney's house. we show up and there are tons of crazy, loud, obnoxious dudes from long island there.... yelling and being drunk and waking us all up. throughout the night. we were scared out of our minds. delicious is from long island so he was trying to talk them down, but they were insaneeeeeee. then several people almost got into a fight. i th ought we were going to be pummelled in our sleep. we didn't get to sleep until about 4 am, but it was ok.
today was tampa and we had alot of fun. the show was great, it was fun hanging out. we hung out with metro station a bit and it was we the kings home area, so the show was real good. i had a fun night and i just got really bummed about the tour being over so soon. we never really got a chance to hang out with the other bands so i am bummed. time off will be fun to write some songs and work on some videos and pictures and stuff.... but other than that it's no fun.
anyway. time to get to sleep, hopefully i'll upload some pictures from the tour and maybe some fun ones from our 16 hour drive home in a few days.

Hey there Brendan, I happened to see some of the comments left on myspace about the fight. I would have never thought that it would get that bad!!! That does suck when you are there to see a show and you have people who just can't handle themselves. I mean I thought it was bad when I saw you guys at Kingston and the moshers were right behind us and running into us and us getting pushed onto the stage. That was nutzzzzzzzzzzzzz. But getting to hang out with you guys was worth it!!!! Tell Shane I said to take care of his throat. That is #1 right now. Bet you guys didn't think you lived such an exciting life!!! I bet it was the lyrics that drove those guys mad.....LOL. Blue skies, sunrise, now come on it doesn't get any madder than that!!!!!!! HAHAHA. So anyways, all of you take care for the rest of your time off. Can't wait to see your pix.

That show in Ft. Lauderdale was pretty ridiculous. Two of the fights happened no more than three feet from where I was standing. Who seriously goes to a show just to start fights with people?
Oh, and they caught the cop killer.

long island guy are ass hole. some guys got in a fight at crazy donkey during a bayside show and they had to stop playing. it must be something in the water. haha. well i already told shane to feel better so no need to deliver the message for me. but cant wait to see you guys with BLG that ahow is going to be insane [in a good way]. later my dude.
