sorry it's been so long since i have last posted but i've been very very busy. everyone is very bummed about not being out on the road, but it's ok becuase it's for a serious matter.
in my time off so far, i've decided that my new goal is to record a song a day... it's been so hard and i never realized it would be. i did two songs and had some fun doing them. (one song was about two robots going through trouble times in their relationship and another was about a guy turning into a robot). but yesterday i stumbled upon a song that was very difficult for me, i recorded the music in the morning and then was having loads of trouble figuring out a chorus melody and lyrics for this song. the idea behind the song was a guy is walking to work and doing his normal routine and then something mysterious happens... it happens over and over, much like groundhog day and each time there's a different outcome. but finding a chorus to link these 3 or 4 happenings was very difficult to me. i recruited a couple friends and everything, but still wasn't able to come up with anything that would fit with the melody i had. so anyway, i decided to sleep on it and today i have the daunting task of possibly making TWO songs... to make up for yesterday. i have the music done for the next one already, but it's still going to be difficult to do.
also tonight we are making the trip down to the studio to hear the mixes of our album (thus far) i'm hoping for the best. we still have much to do and i dunno how it's going to get done, but tonight is the frist step in finishing, so wish me luck that they sound how we wanted them to come out heh.
anyway, pictures have been put to the back burner because of this songwriting expedition i have gone on haha... but they'll be up soon i promise!

...that is such a good goal to set..i could never follow it..theres noway i could commit to it!

Robots....hmmmmmm interesting concept. I do like the idea of the song with the reaccuring day. Hope you can come up with the chorus you need to finish it. It really sounds like a great idea, something that has not been done before...at least not that I am aware of!!! Keep working at it. By the way, hope Shane is feeling better. Strept throat suxxxx big time.
