week o' fun

well this week has been a good one.

monday was a good time for accusations and being told that we're jerks. after that, we wrote songs songs. one song was like johnny cash, it was sweet and the other was like an old school punk song. it was kind of weird to have these different songs, we're kind of getting outside of the box and doing some weird stuff, but that's what we're going for. anyway the rest of the days we spent working on those songs and working one some other stuff we've been doing. on thursday we went back to the studio to finish recording the demos we just had a few more things to do... but it still took till like 4 am to finish, and there was still more we could have done, but we figured we woud save it for the record.

friday nicole and i went to good old kintnersville for a birthday dinner extravaganza for her and nana. there was delicious soup and some guacamole dip, anndd excellent carrot cake. the dinner was good and then we watched quite the episode of wife swap and some other things, it was a good time. the next morning we woke up and we headed up to new york for our show.

the show was pretty sweet, it was sold out and we played a few new songs, i had a good time playing. pj and tom made fun of my tie, but i was like, yo i ain't gonna let them bring me down, and i didn't haha. after we got done i watched punchline and it was just like the old days (minus night fever). they played a new song and it ws amzing, im really excited to hear their new demos as well. bayside ruled as usual, i love their new album and it was good to see those songs live. that night we stayed with margot and there was a crazy dog who hated us all.

yesterday we played in worcester mass. the show was fun, only 3 bands... which was weird, but it was a good time. rob hitt and the i surrender crew cme up to see his bands play together. he also brought along our good friends brooks and gaby. it ws good old time. we played an even different song from the night before and everyone said it went pretty well. four year strong was awesome, i really enjoyed those guys, they were badass and i really like their demos and stuff, i can't wait to hear their album.

today is nicole's birthday and we had a good old fashioned singapore visit. we ate some excellent pan fried dumplings and some sweet shredded pork with spicy garlic sauce, it was incredible. after that we went to kingdom and got some mango cheesecake, which was as good as everyone had said it would be. after some kmart stuff we went back and watched heroes, which was a crazy episode. silar is up to no good.. i'll tell you that much

anyway, tomorrow i shall get down to business and do some myspce stuff and get back to writing some songs. but for now i'm going to lay in bed and do nothing.
