so anyway, many people were asking me if i was still a vegan despite these pork and cheesecake extravagant meals, haha.. but i still am, it was from singapore and kindgom of vegetarian, which are kosher and vegan places, that make all mock meats and desserts and things like that. it's really very delicious... you should try it.
this week was kind of a lazy one. not much going on, we're sort of winding down song writing and such... we've been spending our time writing a few new tunes, but mostly just fixing up the old ones... doing some sprucing up on the songs that we've written recently. i'd say our spring cleaning is going pretty well, we have a bunch of songsn that i'm very excited about... hopefully we will still write a few more though, i'm still feeling like, the album isn't finished. plus, shane and i will hopefully write some songs on the tour with hit the lights. we can work some of those ideas out when we get back from the tour.
wednesday was lost and it was a little dissapointing, i must say... some silly time travel stuff and weird supernatural things going on... lost is supposed to stray away from that... but i guess they might be running out of ideas. charlie is going to die soon, according to desmond... maybe that will make claire on the show less and the show will be overall sweeter.. but who knows.
anyway this weekend was a good one. friday night, i hung out in manyunk. i hadn't seen rossetti or albert or updegrave or anthony in a long time so i thought it would be a good time to hang out with th em. rob rossetti ditched us for robert randolf.. but mike albert picked us upa nd we drove around for a long time and then went to a party where we met anthony and sean, and even rob keating was there, it was like old times... going to steves prince of steaks! ha
last night i went to grandpa old's for a good old fashioned night of sitting around making fun of things on tv, and everyone in the room. it was fun, but ended shortly to catch the last train back to philadelphia. when i got back, i did pretty much nothing, i played the guitar and wrote some good songs about nicole. when we woke up this morning, the best thing was going on... a beauty and the geek marathon, haha. we watched that, just because nothing else interesting was going on... that show is pretty ridiculous, but as i said... nothing else was happening, so it had to be done.
this evening, we went to see the factory girl. it's a movie about andy warhol and his muse or whatever she was, ha... edie sedgwick. it was an ok movie, nothing crazy or awesome, but not too bad either. andy warhol was a pretty big weirdo. edie sedgwick did lots of drugs... and then some unnamed folk singer was trying to be cool and said 'babe' alot... maybe it was bob dylan, but i am not really backed up on that one. either way... i wouldn't really reccomend the movie, it didn't tell much about anything, really... but whatever. children of men let out right before we went in and people seemed to have interesting conversations about it... i bet it was good, maybe we should have seen that... oh well.
now i'm just about to upload some horrible sounding demos onto the computer, do some comments, and listen to some music.... and look around for a recipe for vegan irish potatoes. we were in 711 the other night and the irish potatoes had way too many dairy products for their own good. so if you know of any of these places where i can find them, that would be awesome.
