salt lake city.

we're here and we're pretty excited. we're on our way back to the east coast... making our way very very slowly. we have a day of today and we're at the same mall we went to last time. it's an outdoor mall and its getting to be very cold out, so its not so pleasing.

today i spent our drive from cedar city, utah to salt lake playing guitar. i played guitar for hours. last night really was alot of fun for me and it got me wanting to play guitar real bad. halfway through our set, the pa blew out last night and we couldn't finish. so i went to the van and got my acoustic guitar and we played the rest of the set just me and shane. i was bummed out by the pa, but playing acousic was alot of fun. i was singing, and playing and just had a good time. then we went over to the local radio station and did another set, it was just fun. it reminded me of the old days when we would just do that kind of stuff. it made me excited about music and want to write lyrics and songs and play. i think it was a cdombination of last night and guitar hero.

this tour has been very humbling, makes us realize that we're not anything and we need to work hard to get where we want to be. i want to just write about these things that mean something to me and show everyone that we can make it and we can do it. i feel like these days everyone is just doubting us, even myself. i wanna take this to the next level and its getting really hard to figure out how to do that. lately i feel compelled to just get it done. i've been writing lyrics and song ideas and just kind of forgetting about everything else... i dunno if they're good or not, i won't show them to anyone until i like it myself, but at least i'm doing something.

anywa, enough of my rambling, i'm gonna go hang out with everyone and try to figure out what the game plan is for tonight.
