boring couple of days

thanks for all of the encouraging comments heh, that was sweet.

the past few days have been pretty alright, after salt lake city, we had to drive to denver overnight. the load for the next show was at 10 am... i drove for like 5 hours, through sleet and snow and ice. at one point i was going 20 miles an hour, i was so scared. finally i came up to an exit (wyomings exits are few and far between) and we stopped and slept until the sun came out so the roads wouldn't be so bad. i had to sleep in a crevice in the back of the van on the floor. it was so uncomfortable, and a crazy night. i woke up to a blizzard and max was driving. finally we made it, but none of the other bands had the luck we did... they all stopped and slept in the cold, and their vans weren't ready to handle the weather so they were forced to stop. they were definitely the smart ones, although, i don't think we were in any real danger. it was so fruitless too because the show was a bust, not so many kids, and jds amp caught on fire, so we had to play as a 4 piece.

next was omaha and it was business as usual. not many people, having fun, playing, driving.

we stayed in iowa at our friend katie's and her friends house. it was a good night's sleep, but these crazy cats kept crawling on our faces and biting us all. but all in all, not a bad experience, wireless internet, some food but for the most part this tour has been just one thing after another. hopefully from here on out will be decent. we are in chicago right now and it's quinn's birthday, so everyone went out for that, except me, becuase i'm not 21 andddd i'm tired.

these van rides have been pretty good. i've been playing some awesome video games on christians computer like dr. mario, paperboy, mario kart... its the best thing since we got our new van. its either that or reading.

tomorrow we have another 5 or 6 hour drive to our show in detroit, hopefully i can finally beat dr. mario and move on to an even crazier game like bombliss or super tetrs... who knows.

well anyway, i've bored you enough.... i need to think of some good stories to tell for the next one, becuase this is just getting monotonous.
good night.

man that drive to denver sounded brutal
AND JD's amp catching fire, crazy.

i really dont think it's really that monotonous... unless you drive through blizzards and have your amps catch on fire all the time... then again you are on tour...

so even though laura went Tuesday for the show in rialto ca (it was great btw-except for the lack of people...that sucked...), laura probably can't go to the one in hollywood :(

The only rease I signed up for this was because I wanted to be able to comment your blogs:) I'm so happy your alright, because that storm sounded pretty brutal. It's just the beginning of the tour, I am sure it will get better. Don't get discouraged because a few shows didn't turn out to well. You guys are an awesome band and you are an amazing guitarist:) Keep up the great work.
