so many years ago today our country was born but i don't really see such a huge reason to celebrate. i guess tonight will be some fireworks, i kind of hope so, i'd probalby enjoy that.
right now we're in joplin missouri and its pretty nice out today, not too hot, not bad weather. last night we stayed in a hotel and had to sneak in as usual, i hate doing that so much... but what can you do. today on the drive over here i finished catcher in the rye finally and got pretty far in my new book. i also did some sudokus... it wasn't a bad drive. i also discovered something new, getting the veggie burger at burger, but i asked them to put the sourdough bread on it which was pretty delicious.
so we got here and i started to feel weird about my guitar... i didn't get a chance to play it last night, i had to use mark from spitalfield's backup... which i hate doing, but quinn was nice enough to lend it to me. so today when we got here i started messing around with it... i'm not sure what exactly happened to it, but i'm sure its nothing major, i think i just need a new bridge. its just so hard to find those things, i should have just ordered one on ebay a long time ago. but i'll keep searching music stores for it throughout the tour. we'll see. i fixed it for now, but i just need to get a sweet new bridge and i'll be perfectly good to go.
anyway we're playing with another band today called controlling the famous and they just played, they're really awesome. remind me alot of rx bandits so i enjoyed it.
anyway i'm on the way out to go try and sell some cds, but thats all for today...
we get to see afton tonight and we see cute is what we aim for tomorrow, so i'm really excited.
