detroit rock city

after jackie's house, we had our long goodbyes after the most amazing delicious food for ho urs and hours and all of us getting fat... we're definately going to miss jackie, but she's definately doing something better now, so i'm happy for her...

tonight was detroit, and we finally got to a venue on time, it was pretty insane. the show was alot of fun, i always have a good time in detroitm even though i don't like the city. that place is real cool... its nice to have a small stage and be able to be right up close with the kids, its definately my favorite kind of set up. we didn't play that well, i felt like it was an off night, but it was ok... we pulled through and it was fun.

after the show we hung out for a bit, i went upstairs with greg and watched some comedians {(the guy from just shoot me and drew carey show was up there with some other people).... and then i watched greg wood use his jiu jitsu to put george to sleep... or "choke him out" as he said.... it was amazing. the whole night was really good.. a good second to last night on tour.

i'm really really upset that we're gonna be leaving this tour. we're going to be going home and doing just regular things... well a video is not really regular... but its not playing, and that's what i want to be doing. i feel like we always get into the swing of things and then all of a sudden its over and we're back to 0.... i wish we could just stay on this whole tour it'd be so much fun. we've had the best time ever. punchline are the greatest people in the world... they took a chance on us and took us out on tour and we are defiantely in debt to them... new atlantic are also some of the best people we know. i am going to be so sad to not be able to throw stuff at each others vans everyday. (we have van wars, where we throw random stuff at each other, it was started by dave carlson throwing a hot dog at our van.... and just sprouted from there). its gonna be pretty lame when we get home, but whatever. and i definately can't forget the hilarious cute is what we aim for. fred has to be the most hilarious person ever, and jeff and tom and shaant are just great people, so... all in all this tour is going to be really hard to walk away from, but we have to.... and especially john smith and nick....

well anyway, ill talk more about that tomorrow haha... tomorrow is our ACTUAL last night... so no use getting worried about it now... tomorrow is chicago which is almost always fun, and we've always wanted to play the metro.,.. so it'll be fun i think!

oh and also, we're dropping off the tour the day before they play des moines, where apparently everyone is getting the mumps.... so good thing, i definately don't think i want that haha
