Harry Kalas dies at 73

What a sad day in Phillies history. Harry Kalas died today. He has one of the most memorable voices of any announcer, ever. Watching the Phillies won't be the same now as when I was a kid and listening to AM radio to Harry Kalas tell us what the Phillies were up to. The 93 World Series, the Joe Carter/Mitch Williams bummer home run, many lazy afternoons spent listening to 1210 AM the 'big talker'... no more of that, what a sad day!

I almost cried when I watched the news this morning and they reported this. He was the voice that I've listened to tirelessly for my 16 years. Games won't be the same without him.
