i caught a mouse! him and his friend have been plaguing us for months... running on our countertops and licking from old bowls and being really quiet (like mice do) and they are just INSANE MONSTERS!!!! so they had to be stopped. we tried everything (except killing them) and finally i resorted to the good old 'sneaking up and putting them in a candle' trick!
anyway there's a picture of him that i snapped real quick before taking him 3 blocks away so he couldn't come back. hopefully his friend gets the message too!

You should invest in a live trap. You can get them for like $8-12 at most hardware stores and they work really well without harming the little critters. But then again if you like pulling out your ninja skills to catch them, so be it. :)
I've done that with a glass. I think it's hilarious you had to take it 3 blocks away to insure that it wouldn't come back.
chances are the little guy has left a bread crumb trail and will return with a mob of his angry mouse friends. now you've done it!
haha eyah i knw about the live traps but last time... we got them in there and forgot about it and it died of starvation by the time we remembered it, so no go on those ;)
