blog about it!

so it's been about a week so i thought i'd blog. (hodge also told me i "best be bloggin'" so i figured i'd better adhere to that) i will tell you what's been going on. if i could describe it in 3 words they would be endless. rock. barn-burner. that last one is definitely one word... it's a synonym for "extravaganza" or such words. the basic point i'm trying to make is that there have been good times going on and that's all there is to it. the shows have been fun, hanging out with friends and playing new songs.. we've been switching up the set almost every night to try and keep it interesting, playing as many new songs as we can.. even though some we haven't really had a chance to go over so we've been avoiding a few that we still need to work on a bit.

overall everything has been lots of fun. i've been keeping up with election news and keeping up with my podcasts... catching up on some new music that i've been meaning to listen to and buying old cds that i hadn't ever had the chance to pick up like portishead and a ryan adams disc. good times.













also in recent history we have acquired a new ipod player for the van so we can finally listen to music that we want and not just the same mix cds over and over... which is fun but then quickly gets old when you know that bob dylan is coming on right after wouldn't it be nice.
