badass

this tour has been really fun so far. i'm really happy with the bands that we picked.... especially single file... one of the best bands in recent history that i have heard... reminds me of why i liked pop punk and all of that stuff in the first place, such a good band.

so the other night i slammed my face into a barbed wire fence. it was so close to my eye that i thought i twas going to be blind... but i checked and it was all good, but i got into our hotel room and it was blood all over my face... apparently they like to put random barbed wire fences by hotels and in the dark it is not a good match... several other people almost got hit by it too but i was the only one silly enough to slam my face into it. anyway.... i realized that i hadn't had a tetanus shot in about 12 years so the best idea was to head to the hospital and get one and get it all checked out. little did i know that it would be a nice 5 hour long wait and i would miss matt pryor (who played a show right after us in columbia, SC) and apparently it was amazing and he played tons of get up kids songs and george and delicious hung out with him...

what can you do? at least it's all good now. and i've got a badass scar to show. so right now we're in augusta, georgia trying to wait out the storms to see if we are able to head to florida... there are 2 hurricanes about to hit down there. they are evacuating new orleans and parts of florida so there may be no shows down there.... which would be a huge bummer because we haven't played much of florida this year and i wanted to go back, but we'll be back around in october w/ bayside but that's too far away... plus 3 days off would just be boring.

anyway tomorrow for our actual day off we will be hopefully finishing some videos and getting some new stuff together, perhaps recording some new jams... who knows. time for bed for now but hopefully we'll see you florida people in a few days, but if not hopefully the hurricane isn't too bad down there!
