you'll never guess what i just saw.... the sheriff of Nottingham and robin hood going at it right on the street... it was absolutely insane. apparently this 'robin hood' fellow was stealing from the rich and giving to the poor... and the sheriff wasn't having any of it. i don't think i bought it either, he looked like a pretty shady character, with this green jumpsuit on and a hood up. pretty suspicious if you ask me.

anyway i'm here and alive, things are still going real well, the shows have been a lot of fun. i think last time i updated was after glasgow... i haven't really had much time for internet since then, but the shows have been really fun and lots of cool people have been met. it's so much fun hanging out with the kids in glass houses guys every night... they are really good dudes. i've pretty much been a bum this whole tour. normally i would be writing songs and reading books and making videos.. but this tour has been none of that, because there are no guitars in the bus and i can't power my computer very often because of the dang power over here is just so difficult to convert... well not really but seeing as i don't have one, that'll make it difficult.

mostly i've just been taking a few photos and just hanging out... learning about the language differences and customs of the united kingdom. i have to say that if it weren't so expensive i could live here... it's really not too bad. other than the food.

the one thing that really depresses me about this country though, is the drinking problems. it seems like EVERYONE here is drunk ALL THE TIME. there needs to be some kind of a law to reduce the drinking or raise the drinking age. not much time to rant more... but it has really bothered me so far.

here's a short run down of what i've done so far:
in cardiff, wales we went to a castle, which was pretty sweet and we saw some huge rugby stadiums. in manchester we stayed out way too late. in london we went to the BBC . in birmingham i ate 'chips' with vinegar and salt. in leeds we hung out with some american friends (blg, ciwwaf, wtk) and then charged people to get into a free club (which i felt pretty bad about afterwards). in liverpool i got a sweet hoodie at a sweet place called topman, which is my new favorite store.

anyway time to load in here in nottingham. talk to you all soon

I LOVE TOPMAN. I decided long ago that if I was a British man I'd shop there like everyday of my life, haha.
