tour journal

HOME!!!!!!! i can't believe i'm home. since february i haven't been home for more than like like 24 hours, so it's insane to be back... i didn't think i would make it, but here i am.

it was a long tour and a long time away, but what a good way to end it all... bamboozle was incredible. all i remember was smashing my guitar and then coming off and seeing george in just his bright white socks. it was a hilarious sight, and a great time. it was cool to see all of our friends and random people who we hadn't seen in forever.

the next day we were all ready to call it quits and just end it and head back to philadelphia but we had one more show to do. but it was so worth it, it was with saves the day, armor for sleep, set your goals, metro station and lydia. every band was sweet and really cool people. it was strange to hop on the last day of a tour. everyone was saying their goodbyes and we were just saying hellos and meeting people for the first time. playing with some of our heros (saves the day) was incredible though, and getting to meet them and have them be so cool and have real conversations was awesome. it was a great show and i'm more than glad that we did it.

so now we're home and we're making the final mix changes on the album today and then putting it to rest! mastering and getting the album art done in the next week is going to just be a huge weight off of all our shoulders and hopefully we'll be pushing into the future, rather than stuck in the past as we have been for the past year or so.

we're ready to move on, and for everyone to hear what we've created. i think i've said that so many times, but i'm freakin' ready already.
