tour journal

so things are moving along very well. tomorrow we go in to track drums and start the actual process. we are recording in the studio where foo fighters recorded their best albums. weezer and gwen stefani and countless other awesome artists have recorded here. apparently it looks like a pirate ship, i can't wait to record there.

today we got all of our drums, guitar amp and stuff together. we drove all over los angeles to pick stuff up and made tons of trips. we are borrowing our amps from the guy from eve 6... which i didn't even know when i met up with him and got them until all the amps ahd 'eve 6' spray painted on them, i thought that was pretty funny.

we also found out today that rob dyrdek owns a skate park across the street from our rehearsal space. we saw his sweet car today and almost went in to hang out, but we didn't, perhaps we'll see him again one of these days.. and maybe big... or that sweet skateboarding dog!

we also saw benji from good charlotte buying groceries in front of george, pretty hilarious.

anyway, things are going well, i'm working on video editing stuff becuase we've been filming the whole process and want you to see it. also we are going to have our good friend tom come in and record some (high quality) stuff to see what we can show you all sometime.

nothing else really to report, just that we're having so much fun and can't wait until you hear what we're coming up with! woo!
