tour journal

so here's another update from the craziest tour of our lives. we've been going crazy.... this tour is just as nuts as predicted. everynight is packed and lots of kids and then like 8 or 9 hour drives every night. we are exausted.... but we're having a lot of fun.

last night we drove from saskatoon to winnipeg - almost a 10 hour drive. we drove like 4 hours and tried to find a hotel but there was nothing. so we ended up driving the whole night till like 8 in the morning, jd and george just went crazy driving all night. we ended up in winnipeg in front of a laundramat and we did our laundry for a few hours... then we went to a ymca to shower and use the steam room... it was a good time. it reminded me of our first tour ever when we would drive all night to get to some crazy town and not have enough money for a hotel. those were the days. but that's not the case now it was just a drive through the middle of nowhere with no hotels in sight (or gas stations, we almost ran out of gas once). it was a crazy night... but we made it.

the shows have been really awesome, everyone is so nice up here. i love it... but everything is much too expensive. it's like 3 dollars for just a normal drink at a gas station that would be like 99 cents in america. i am not too excited about that.. but other than that it's beautiful. the scenery, the people, the free health care.

anyway. time to get to the show and then off to america tonight.. so i can finally use my cell phone again! woooo! i'm pumped haha. i feel like i've been locked in a cage for a week, but not really haha.
