sorry about no posts in the last co uple days i've been doing lots of stuff. i've been a very busy guy, between the festival and making beatzzzz and making shirt designs and getting pictures together for the webstore. so much going on! and more to come. we're back into the studio starting tomorrow (sunday we did some gang vocals and guest vocals [trevor from pco and kenny from tsl came and helped out]) to finish some stuff up and hopefully start to mix.
so about that beatz thing... i just got a keyboard and i've been going crazy making some music on my computer. i'm just sort of feeling it out now and haven't gotten the hang of it yet. i've made like 15 songs and they're all like different a few sound like radiohead kid A stuff... some sound like gwen stefani, some sound like the postal service and dntel and some sound like chromeo haha... i'll have to post some soon so you can all hear it, they're pretty hilarious, so i'll have to narrow it down to the kind of songs i want to make and hten get some lyrics and begin singing on them..
also i've got to get back to writing back to comments becuase i've got so many birthday comments people left on the valencia one i need to respond to heh... hopefully i can get to that tonight. and this weekend i have to figure out my pedal situation... i bought a pedal board from grandpa old and i can't seem to get it to work, it's insanity. i have these line 6 pedals and none of them want to work through this power source on here... i've spent like 30 dollars trying to get some power to these pedals and no luck... so hopefully this weekend i can hit up d-town guitars and rob can help me out and also get my guitars set up before we go on tour.
so that's on my agenda. how's everybody doing?
oh and did you see my haircut on nicole's blog, it looks weird sometimes, but we'll fix it... it's really just an experiment.

I like the cut, Brendan. Or at least, I will like it eventually, haha. It's just different, and sometimes change is a necessary thing ;]
I hope you get your pedals working, and I look forward to hearing your personal keyboard experimentations, haha.
I'm doing alright...really tired from work...high school kids are exhausting! It makes me wonder how I never manage to get into summerstock theatre, but I guess I just need a break every now and again, and plus, despite how tired I feel at the end of the afternoon, the work I do is totally worthwhile.
