this is this is this is this is

today was an off one...

i spent alot of time reading things on the internet related to global warming because it's very late and i have nothing better to do... alot of it is very interesting. also articles and trying to see what exactly scientology is (as we passed the scientology church on our way to kingdom of vegetarian today)... what a bunch of whackos

"
Some central tenets of Scientology:
A person is an immortal spiritual being (termed a thetan) who possesses a mind and a body.
The thetan has lived through many past lives and will continue to live beyond the death of the body.
Through the Scientology process of "auditing," one can free oneself of "engrams" and "implants" to reach the state of "Clear", and after that, the state of "Operating Thetan." Each state is said to represent recovering the native spiritual abilities of the individual, and to confer dramatic mental and physical benefits.
A person is basically good, but becomes "aberrated" by moments of pain and unconsciousness in his or her life.
What is true for you is what you have observed yourself. No beliefs should be forced as "true" on anyone. Thus, the tenets of Scientology are expected to be tested and seen to either be true or not by Scientology practitioners.
Psychiatry and psychology are destructive and abusive practices.

anyway, i'm working on some video things for the bass section of our recording process and it's not going all that well, i didn't get around to filming much of george's bassing because i was too engrossed in listening and gathering ideas... so, needless to say, this one will be very short.

here's some trite pictures:

i never really knew what scientology was. thank you for explaining it (or copying and pasting, whatever). this further confirms for me that tom cruise is nuts :)

Scientology scares me a little. I mean, everyone has their right to believe in whatever they want (which can be a double-edged sword in some respects) but I don't know - I guess Scientology just isn't for me, haha.

I could tell you were kind of bummed out in this entry...hope you're feeling better, my friend.
