recording is going swimmingly. we have lots of songs to choose from, we are almost done drums... we will be done tomorrow... we hope! we have like 5 or 6 songs left to track. we're very excited about it to say the least. you will see the studio we are recording in on the next studio update (max edition) i've been working on it for the past few days and about to go film some more.
hoboken isn't the most fun city in the world, but it's just nice to get away for the recording, have very little distractions... life in the studio can be very stressful but we're trying to keep the energy and vibe up so we can make the best record possible. we're definitely having alot of fun despite max's limp muscles and early onset carpal tunnel (not really, but he's definitely very tired and having a rought time). he's been playing drums for the past 2 weeks about 8- 10 hours a day.. i couldn't imagine how that is. but i will know his pain once i have to play guitar when i track my stuff from 12-6 in the morning everyday haha... it's going to be great.
i've been pretty bored all day, doing nothing, sitting in the apartment and just watching movies and curb your enthusiasm and south park alot. but tonight shall be fun, we are going to hit up the boat, apparntly there's a sweet boat that the studio owner has and we can go around the river and up and down the skyline... i'm pumped.
i also am planning on starting to work with my friend alex on some songs... we're trying to do an electronic/acoustic type thing. flaming lips inspired... but more serious. we'll definitely show you some music once we get it made... just for fun, nothing crazy, we just want to make some music... that's all.
also here's what i've been listening to alot lately (and you should too):
feist
the arctic monkeys
the killers
days away
mewithoutyou
saves the day
also, here's some pictures of stuff that's been going on too... check them out.
there's not much in hoboken, nj to take pictures of... although i want to take some pictures of the new york skyline tonight and some other stuff.

Ahh, I hope Max gets better:( I love the pictures. They are really really good and pretty. I always say this but you are seriously an amazing photographer. I always save the pictures and just stare at them for like 10 minutes. They are really nice. You are seriously good at everything:) Can't wait to hear the new stuff, and to see the video of Max:)
dude shut your mouth, those pictures are incredible. as usual. word around the campfire says i want to hear all the pre-production demos.

this is no longer a laughing matter.
Photos that stuck out to me most and why:
Book shelves > because I used to work in a library and I'm kind of obsessed with books.
Ferris Wheel > The Warriors. 'Nuff said.
Cigarette Butts > because I hope you don't smoke!
I definitely performed in Hoboken.
Right across from a dog park, which I unfortunately didn't have time to visit since I had to go back to Cleveland.
