well it's finally here. the last day of tour.
i didn't think i would be sad to go, but i definitely am. i'm definitely going to miss good old hit the lights, and (k)evan and ollie and forgive durden and love arcade, and even the fireworks guys (who we just met the other day and were on the last 3 shows) this tour has really been amazing. despite the obvious misfortunes we've had, the shows have been awesome, the bands are some of the nicest dudes and we've met alot of new people as well on this tour. i have been waiting to go home for the past week, but now that it's the last day i'm definitely sad.
the last 2 nights i spent with hit the lights. it was "BRENDAN DAY!!!!!" so it was my turn to ride with them. i had a good time with them. it's always interesting to see how other bands function and work. hit hte lights is like a well oiled, hilarious machine. there is so much going on all the time and just people coming and going and doing things, it is funny. with our band, we just go home and sleep, they're up doing stuff and having people over till like 5 am. either way it was a fun time and those guys are definitnely one of my favorite bands to hang out with,
i'm pretty excited to get home and get back to work on the record though. i was stressing out about it all tour and i'm definitely calmed down by now. four year strong is still in the studio and we had to push our studio time back a little bit... which is a huge relief. we get 3 weeks now before we actually start tracking, instead of going in the day we get back, haha. that really would have been absurd. now we get time to write more songs and work more on the songs that we had.
well anyway, the only reason i'm up now at 9 am doing this is cuz the sun is blaring in my face, but i really wanna get some more sleep so i can drive home tonight... but i just was bored of laying here for the last 2 hours staring into the bright sun so i figured i'd write this all down ha.
oh yeah and kinixtion got shut down, i feel so bad for them, i know how it feels... hit me up.
anyway time to go to sleep again. adios.

it's sad to go on the valencia myspace page and see only one date listed there anymore, but im pretty certain that every single fan is dying for the new album to come out. make sure you guys catch up on all that lost sleep now that you're goin home :)
Well I'm glad you got more time for your album. This will make it even more better. I am so excited for this record it's not even funny. I hope you have a restful break at home:)
yo... I'm so glad I got to see you guys on this tour. Now I know how great you guys are! (before that, I never listened to you guys) And it was fun getting to talk to you, Brendan. It was a pretty random conversation. Make sure you make that joke from Wayne's World 2 next time you're in Milwaukee cause if you don't I'll be pretty disappointed. I have a pretty silly picture of us...
I can't wait for the new album to come out. I remember accidently bumping into you at the San Diego show.lawlz. High fives are sweet. :]I hope you and the rest of valencia get plenty of rest. You guys deserve it. <3
