tour journal

Hello everyone, sorry I haven’t updated in a while, life has been crazy these last week or so. We left for tour today so we’re just having a crazy time getting things done and ready to leave for tour. Today we are headed to my parents house in pittsburgh so we can get a head start to our first show in Columbus tomorrow. I am really excited for this tour, its going to rule…

We got done about 20 songs so far, and we did demoes of most of them at the studio with nik and robnett, so over tour we can work on the songs and write some more parts and hopefully we’ll write a few more. We’re pumped to get this record done.

On Friday I went to see capitol risk and that was a good time, its always good to see those guys… then Nicole and I went back to her house, it is her spring break so we were up at her parents house… which was nice. Good to see the Rimmer family and all. We made some vegan cookies and delicious vegan cheesecake, and tons of other awesome stuff. I also played sim city and made the aswesomest city ever… that game is excellent.

And the best news of all was that I bought a new guitar. I am so pumped to be playing a new guitar on this tour, it sounds so good, and looks so sweet haha. It’s a les paul custom from 1981. It’s pretty old and worn, but that’s what I really like about it, its just really fun to play, and as soon as I get it all set up I’ll be playing it everyday, and hopefully it’ll sound good recorded as well. I traded in my other guitar, but I never really played it all that much.

Anywho, I also saw zodiac… it was pretty poor and I was really disappointed, considering the director and the cast and all.

also today i made a new tour update video with a theme song that i recorded, and some other music i recorded, its pretty funny music and video haha so hopefully you'll like it... ill post it here whenever i get a chance
