pictures, etc.

so it's been forever since i've last updated. almost a month, to be exact.

we finished the tour with spitalfield and punchline on the 10th of december and then went to chicago to play on the 11th. the show was pretty fun and afterwards i drove all night to my parents house in pittsburgh. it took 10 hours and christian and i stayed up the whole night and listening to only 80's songs, it was a good time. it was awesome to be home and finally just do nothing. for about 3 days i didn't do anything at all, i just sort of sat at my house and hung out. then, later in the week i drove to philly to pickup nicole. when i got there we just went to see sean mundy, played the wii and then pretty much just left to go back to pittsburgh. when we got there we did a lot more nothing. we pretty much just played games, and nintendo and hung out with the familia. i had a good time though. we went to see my pop pop pretty much everyday and then got all my christmas shopping done, which took a long time...

here's what i got everyone.
mom - black and white pictures and frames, which i took the week i was in pittsuburgh, one of them is below, of the pittsburgh skyline, from mt. washington. it took forever, we went up there 3 different times. first time the batteries died on my camera. second time, the picture sizes were off for some reason and we didn't realize till we got home, and then the third time we finally got it.

dad - a wind up LED flashlight, cinnamon roasted pecans and a book.

danielle - a giftcard to barnes and noble, which i put in a gigantic box.

pop pop - steelers socks, which he liked... i think.

uncle john - a steelers scarf, which was pretty sweet.

nicole - a calendaeeerarear, and a television. she was with me so i had to purchase it sneakily, but i tricked her good and i got them both.

anyway. the morning after christmas i drove back to philadelphia to practice for our shows and all. the shows went really well, i thought. all three were sold out and a really good time. it was good to see lots of people i hadn't seen in a while and play music again.

after the shows i stayed at george's house and then went down to philadelphia to see glassjaw and this is hell play at the troc. that was a good day, i went down and just walked around philadelphia for many hours, and then had dinner with my parents at singapore, as they were passing through philadelphia. when i went back to singapore to eat with jake, maggie and george, it was very akward because they all knew i had been there hours earlier. when i left the guy said 'see you in a little while'. the show was awesome. glassjaw was really good even though they only had one guitar player. they put on quite a show. darryl didn 't even say one word to the crowd.

after the show i went back up to kintnersville and stayed the evening. we went to q mart and saw some crazy weirdos and bought some apples. we watched the eagles game with the rimmers. we went to dan's house and watched the bonfire. we went to philadelphia and stayed at nicole's apartment. new years day, we went down to ocean city, nj to give the car back to my mom. we ate dinner with aunt ruth and uncle lenny and peggy and barry and mom and dad. there was a puzzle going on, but i dunno if it got finished or not... probably not. after we got back we went to sleep and were very tired.

yesterday, we started practicing and writing again. we got 3 ideas down and are pretty excited about it. i'm pumped to start writing again and to get all of this stuff moving. it was nice to not do anything for a week or so, but now its gonna be good to get back into the swing of things. i'll keep you updated on songs and stuff as they come...
