not alot new

i think monday was the last time i posted, and as the title says, nothing new is really going on. heroes was kind of alright, i think next week will be better, but monday's wasn't as good as i thought it was gonna be.

this whole week i've been pretty much going to either practice or the studio and just getting as much done as possible. we came to a sort of epiphany about the songs this week and decided practicing at one and buckling down and doing more work each day was a better idea that the lax attitude we've had lately... but i think its good to go in stages so we don't burn ourselves out. we're going into a different studio starting wednesday to do 3 newer songs, and i'm real excited. new atlantic and like lions songs from this studio all came out sounding great and hopefully we will follow suit. these guys seem to really know what they're doing.

thursday i ran from the train because i thought i missed the office, but it was a fruitless run because it was just a bunch of reruns, the new episodes are NEXT week, i am such a fool!

last night we had a show in asbury park. first of all, asbury park is the creepiest place i've been to in a while, its a real strange town. the venue got chagned because someone was shot and killed at a show at the original venue the week before. it was changed to a place called 'fast lanes' and i was pumped because i thought it was a bowling alley and we'd get free bowling, but again... no luck.... the bowling alley was NEXT door... damn. but we did get to see new atlantic and that is always a good time, they got really good and their new album rules, i was thoroughly impressed.

anyway, today we had more practice, as usual. when we got out the van's battery had died and it wouldn't start, so we had to jump it. then we thought it was jumping right because george kept 'trying to start the van'. then 15 minutes later we found out that george just left it in gear the whole time and it wasn't in park and that's why the van wouldn't start. so that was awesome!!!!!!!

tonight we went to govinda's and got some delicious vegan chicken cheese steaks and i think it might have been the most delicious thing i've had at a vegan restaurant, ever. then we went to grocery shopping at whole foods and spent way too much money on food. on the way home the bags ripped and we had to walk alot with bags digging into our cold hands, but we're alright!

anyway tomorrow is more practicing and then who knows what. i really wanna hang out with mike albert and rob rossetti pretty soon because apparently will's party on friday was hilarious and we missed it and rob's party tonight i missed so we gotta go visit them soon. so maybe tomorrow night, who knows.

oh and john dill is moving to california on tuesday, which is gonna be crazy to see him when we're in california next, and not for the next couple months... so will and i went out to eat with him the other day. im' sure i'll see him though no matter what. what a good guy john dill is.

anyway time to play guitar
adios.

haha. i must say that the part about george leaving the van in gear made me laugh. my friend has done that a bunch of times with her car. and every time we think the battery is dead.

LOL the van thing is freaking amazing. The place where you played is freaking, someone got shot at a show? That is some scary shit. LOL that Julia girl is freaking out about the title because you misspelled it! LOL, don't worry, even if you didn't write the title right, you are still my favorite guitarist:)
