this week.

hello all (2) of you!

we are all very very busy. this week has been very very hectic. we had our awesome philly show, which was a great crowd as always... hometowns are always the most fun. then came our instore the following night, that was alot of fun, we had such a great turnout for there being a hawthorne heights show down the street, i was impressed, and i had a real good time.

the next day we went to new york to play in front of some imprtant people... i think. it was pretty nervewracking. i wanted to go to new york wednesday night and get some rest up there and prepare for the show, but for some reason shane didn't want to go, so we stayed home. we didn't get to prepare until the van ride up, and i didn't feel like we were on at all, not tight with guitars, and i didn't have any backup vocals prepared, it was scray to feel so unprepared in front of such an important, and tough crowd. we got them all clapping and participating, and shane told a good joke. he said 'we know you all can sell records, but can you clap' ...i thought it was funny at least... so that calmed me down a bit, i didn't think we played well, but everyone told us we did, so i believed them. after we played, we went down to some other important places.. to make us feel like we are significant, i assume, but it doesn't work, because we know we aren't! we finally got done the whole day and went to a party in the infamous 'sony club' where only the tippy top bigwigs of the industry hang out, like clive davis and what not. i felt very important... but very out of place. i just hung out with richard and our dudes the whole time, and then was called names by stephanie for wanting to leave.... but it was cool... we went home and i had a nice nights sleep.

friday was the slow day... last day home before tour is always slow and dragging... but i loved every second of it. i woke up late, started to do some wash, and pack a bit. then i headed down to the city to get some delicious vegan chinese food. singapore, is the most incredible place ever, its like a normal chinese resturant, but everything is vegan. (oh yeah, george, nicole and i started our attempt at the vegan lifestyle this week) next we went to wills, and hung out... there were awesome cartoons, so i took pictures of all like 90 of them so i can use them later for shirts and designs and pictures later.

anyway, say anything is almost done, so i need to finish this. (say anything is amazing by the way) but i have to tell what happened last night before i go... we had an awesome show, we drew the most kids we ever did in baltimore, and sold alot of shirts and had alot of fun... the power went out in the middle of our first song, and my guitar broke... but it was smooth sailing from there.... after we played, there were tons of people outside and, these guys came up and stole a girls sidekick. 5 huge guys... and jd ran after them, in an attempt to get it back, and came back with a bloody nose and cops are all over the place, it was insanity

well shane is now singing belt with max on stage, so that's my cue to go out and try and sell cds...
