what a whacky day

today was pretty weird... well starting with last night... i walked around all day looking for a place to get my haircut and found nothing whatsoever.... except maxamillions gentelmans barber shop, and i wasn't about to go there, because they would just line me up.

so anyway we went out to west chester to see a show, and ended up at kellys to do a little bit of celebrating for her birthday. the shindig ended with me getting my haircut by allison, and everyone staring at me, but i was happy thaht i actually got it done.

then we went to the city to celebrate another birthday, but it ended up everyone just going all across the city and lacking decision making skill... it was terrible, finally we just went home, but it was a very uneventful evening.

anayway, today as i was leaving, walking down montgomery, there were 3 guys following me. 2 guys were together and one was lagging behind. they were talking about us and we hid my camera and stuff... then we slowed down so they would pass. once they passed us, staring at us to see what we had and all... they started beating up the dude in front of us and took his ipod... i couldn't believe in broad daylight, 1 block away from the police station. it was so wild, and i wasn't even sure what happened.... the guys took it and stuck around for a while. they just kept going after the kid and telling him they would call the cops on him if he tried to fight back... it was strange. the kid seemed to be ok though, i just felt bad that i could do nothing to help.

i felt funny the rest of the day, just thinking about the whole situation and how it could have been me, for whatever that means, or that it could have even been nicole. things like that are always upsetting to see and think about, like what kind of people these are that would steal like that, and how am i to decipher who is and isn't going to con me, or jump me.

ah well in any event, i stuck around till it was over and then tried to get out of there, and it started to pour down rain all over us. it was very uncomfortable, as rain always is.

so i just did what i had to do and then came back and did a bunch of stuff i needed to do.... and a bunch of stuff i didn't need to do.... like this:
