konichiwa

so i'm in japan as i am typing this. in a room full of japanese people on the internet, very quiet... but its amazing. the time difference is insane and we flew in and drove 5 hours straight to our hotel. we flew in near tokyo and drove to where fuji rock is in niigata.

the flight was so insane. i was next to some sleeping japanese guy who was hogging all the armrest space and an old couple who didn't say one word for 14 hours. the food was amazing though... we got the vegetarian meals and they were really good. delicious fruit and other crazy things, some weird fruit drinks and green teas... but everything felt like i was eating healthy no matter what. they also had video games on the place, really crappy ones, but i played them for hours. i played four square ripoff, tetris ripoff and othello ripoff for so many hours and now my eyes are so red its out of control.

we got to thhe airport and it was like 6 at night... but 5 am at home... so we're all dead tired, its like 10 in the morning at home and everyone's just about to go to bed... but that's alright because i think i am too ha. on the way we stopped at some rest stops and things and masa showed us how to use the money and buy hot food from vending machines on the street. this is apparently normal for japan... i was surprised only because, no one is fat here, america seems like the place they'd be having vending machines everywhere.

the hotel is really cool, its like it hasn't been updated since 1975... everything is really like 70's 'cool' ski resort vibe, i like it though. very classy.

anywho, i'm gonna get to bed becuase this is insane how much time i've been awake... i think i saw daylight for like 20 hours straight... but fuji rock tomorrow. red hot chili peppers, woo... or red chili! as they call it here.
