a lynching in lynchburg, howwwwwwww fitting.

so theres the guy, sean and i felt bad for him, they hung him for no reason. just because they didn't like the smell of his latex skin... but thennnnn we realized that it was America's Gaff-n-Go Electric Lineman Rodeo!!!!!!!


The hotel that we stayed at in Lynchburg Virginia was the host for this beloved competition and sean and i went to check it out as our room was getting ready.


anywho, let's rewind back to the night before, when we played at sacred grounds. sacred grounds was where i met george and jd for the first time and had some of my first rock shows. it is a smallllll, smelly, crazy place... but we loved it and we deicded it'd be fun to come back again! we had a great night. it sold out so fast, i felt so bad for the people who got turned away, but it was a very fun evening none the less. it was great to see all of our friends out there. and all the bands ruled, suburban riot (who only got to play 2 songs, i felt bad, but they were good), procession came opposite (who are some amazing dudes, and trevor sang with us which was incredible), euclid (who is dj's band, and they were excellent, i dug it, and can't wait to school their singer in darts.... too bad their milkshake machine broke at the show though), and jealousy curve who was a bunch of really cool guys, we've seen them all over the place but never heard them or met them, but finally got the chance to do both and it was alot of fun.

it was alot of fun playing for all our friends again, alot of people i hadn't seen in forever came and hung out, couldn't name them all, but it was great to see everyone... we p layed a whole bunch of songs that we don't normally play and it was pretty sweetttttttt!

after the show we went down to the city to meet up at jared's apartment for his 21st birthday.... it was pretty insane. there were so many jewish people there! they just kept yelling jewish things and i didn't know what to do haha... but it was fun, jared seemed to be having a good time... haha. we only stayed for about an hourr and had to head out. we had to go pick up sean's bag and embark on a journey that will make me hate my life for a bit.

so the first long drive in our new van was down to lynchburg, virginia to play a show with our friends all time low and also with paramore. we had to be there early on saturday so we decided to leave the night before. everyone was tired, so everyone decided it'd be great to let me and george drive. george drove about an hour and a half or 2 hours and then i had to take over.. for the next 5. it was pretttttty sweeet. we drove on some highways and then down this one/two lane road forrr about 150 miles, it wassss great! ... not really though, i was pretty upset. and then we got there and i parked at a lowes where i was forced to sleep in the drivers seat where its the most uncomfortable place ever. so i couldn't sleep for 2 more hours. i finally got about 2 hours of sleep and then moved to the back so max could drive around speed bumps and everyone could yell and i'd get no more sleep. soooo running on no sleep we played an outdoor show which we hate...

minus all the shitty stuff it was actually kinda fun. all time low was amazing as usual and so was paramore. it was great meeting them, really nice people.... it was a shame we didn't get to hang out with them more. when we played there were these kids who made the whole show amazing, they were yelling and singing and dancing and having a great time. they even chanted for an encore. those guys were awesome. so afterwards we went and hung out with them. we went down to their house and had a great night kicking it and playing snaps and everything. it was definately a fun night.

so today... the drive that was supposed to take 6 hours took much much much much much much much much much too long. after eating burger king with all time low, we decided to follow them becuase they have gps. so after going the wrong direction for about an hour, we decided that we should stop and figure out what was going on. our breaks were going horribly and breaking and we had to turn back anyway, we lost about 2 hours, and didn't get on course till about 230 when we left at 12.... so this long ridiuclous ride, sean and george and i had some crazy adventures. we saw a house burn down. weeeeee made some crazy faces and even drank upside down from a bottle!!! crazy stuff, right?!@3 ... yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. well anywho, we had quite a comfortable ride in our fancy new van and it was fun. we even had a high speed chase with some girls with our stickers on the back of their car. it was a good day.

so finally at around 9 oclock george and i rolled into his house and here i am, on my second episode of svu, hanging out and waiting till i get too tired from my ridiculous lack of sleep to.... sleep.
