the video is going well! i'm so pumped for how things are turning out. last night we had to go to downtown san diego and go int he median to do a time elapsed scene. i went down and i had to walk in super slow motion in front of the entire city of san diego. i was supposed to walked 3 steps, pull ashley and turn her around.... but it had to be done over the course of 5 minutes. it was sooo hard. first i had to just stand there with my eyes open for 5 minutes, i had tears streaming down my face after a while, it was pretty intense. i really hope it tunrs out well. we had so many people yelling at us too. we were right at a stoplight so everyone kept stopping and yelling things like 'work it girl' and 'wooo', you know, your standard heckling. and then i got a few 'ohhh emo pose it!' and a whole ton of other stuff. people were real weird, but it just made it that much harder to keep a straight face while doing all of this... i think we did a pretty good job, and i saw some of the final things and it seemed pretty cool, but today we are doing a backup, just in case it doesn't work out... this time in regular speed ha.
after we shot that, we came back and went to eric and dave's house for a little get together that night. we didn't really know many people, and we all had to be up early.. jd and ashley were getting up at 5 am, so we didn't stay for long.... came back and got a nice 3 hours of sleep. i woke up with the beach scene people, becuase it was so loud, and i couldn't get back to sleep, so i didn't get to sleep till like 7, and then i had to wake up at 8... i was late and got yelled at a whole bunch. we were going to do the live band scene.
we got there and everyone was already there and we started to set up... squints took all the drums down from La which was really nice of him, and we got to use the kit that we wanted to. it was also good to have him out at athe shoot, it was alot of fun. we did it all in the atticus and macbeth warehouse, and all of blink 182 and angel's and airwaves equipment was in there, it was pretty intense. they even had blink 182's old flaming fuck sign from back in th early 2000's.... it was very nostalgic haha.
so we shot the scene about 30 times, all different angles that ron and ryan could think of. i was so happy with how it looked, i am really excited for that part, it looks so professional... it's really exciting. i think all of us were really nervous though... it was weird playing just in this white room, for no one only a few people, it was pretty hilarious. everyonen else got really really sweaty, but i didn't... i guess i don't move around as much, but i was definately tired, and still am.
we got some falafel for lunch and that was good, but i dunno what my deal is, i haven't eaten much in like 3 days, i think i'm just nervous about this whole thing. i only ate a half of a burrito and a half a falafel since we got here. its weird. but we'll see, hopefully it'll turn out well and i won't have to be nervous anymore... i'm excited for hanging out tonight though, i hope we all get to hang out, ashley defin says she wants to and i know that some other people do, so it'll be fun... we'll make out last night in san diego count.
tomorrow is the last day, and we're doing 2 scenes, the bar scene, and max's underwater scene, which should be kind of crazy, he has to be underwater for about 5 hours, well.. on and off, he can come out to breath, but yeah... it's going to be pretty hilarious.... so hopefully i can go there and be able to go and see it..
so hopefully tomorrow goes well, if you know anyone in san diego tell them to come down.
